Lights and accessories WILL BE DAMAGED if the system is hooked up to a 36 volt (six(6) 6-volt batteries) or 48 volt (six(6) 8-volt batteries) or any other voltage exceeding 12 volts. Damage from incorrect wiring or operating this kit at a higher voltage than 12 volts will VOID ALL WARRANTIES and so for all Electric Carts a Voltage Reducer is STRONGLY RECOMMENDED. After Voltage Reducer is installed please test voltage with a voltage reader prior to installation to determine the output voltage is no higher than 12 VOLTS.
